The technology offered today for measuring residential properties spans a wide range of instruments from the usual tape measure method to advanced lasers and CAD (Computer Assisted Drawing) programs. We use the most sophisticated, and thus expensive, technology available to us that is applicable to measuring homes and businesses. We use lasers from Leica Corporation that can measure to 1/64”. In our Standard Measuring Service we can Bluetooth the recorded measurement directly into a CAD program in a hardened tablet computer we carry with us as we measure the structure.

Keep in mind that there is not such thing as a perfectly straight wall and the use of uneven stone or brick exterior veneers may skew the measurements of a wall even further.
